SCI Wellness Committee Health Tips

Grab your yoga mat, bring a towel and some motivation! Our wellness committee has a few tips for you this week as we celebrate National Women’s Health Week. Don’t sweat it, these tips are for everyone!

  1. Have Fun – Do workouts that you enjoy – make it a fun part of your day, not something you have to check off a box. If it helps, do it with friends and make it a social event!
  2. Get Pumped – You have to truly want to be healthy and take steps to do so and not just talk about it.
  3. Be Balanced – Being healthy means being balanced for all aspects of wellness – physical, mental, emotional, financial, nutritional, etc. It is important to me to take steps for all aspects of wellness to live a full and balanced life.
  4. Prioritize -Try to maintain a good work/life balance, regular exercise, and at least 6-7 hours of sleep and moderately healthy diet.
