SCI hosted Maryland State Senator, President Bill Ferguson!

This week, SCI had the pleasure of hosting Maryland State Senator, President Bill Ferguson at our monthly Leadership Meeting, and we are excited to share a few highlights from his visit. During his time with us, President Ferguson spoke about the power of advocacy, leadership, and the vital importance of supporting people with disabilities and complex medical needs.

President Ferguson, currently serving his third term as the State Senator for Maryland’s 46th Legislative District, emphasized his unwavering commitment to ensuring that every Marylander has the opportunity to reach their full potential. His dedication to this cause is evident in his leadership role as President of the Maryland Senate, a position he has held since January 2020.

A lifelong Maryland resident and former educator with Teach for America, Senator Ferguson’s deep connection to our community and his inspiring leadership continue to drive positive change.

His visit underscored the impact of case management services, advocacy, and the essential role we all play in championing the needs of those we serve. We are grateful for his support and look forward to continuing our collaboration in advancing these vital issues.
