Earmark Funding

Earmark Funding
At Service Coordination, we are committed to providing quality case management. And over the decades, we’ve remained a leading provider. We’ve been able to impact thousands of lives by focusing on transformative services and resources that support people and families of all abilities and ages as they develop and achieve a vision for a good life.
We remain committed to the important work we do each day – and we will always work to create A World for Everyone. Two places we’re making an impact now are Annapolis and Washington, D.C.
Our project, Empowering Unserved Marylanders for Independence and Community Connections, is requesting nearly $1 million from the federal government.
If this funding is awarded — in whole or in part — it will expedite our ability to support thousands of low-income people throughout Maryland. We’ll be able to:
- Improve our ability to provide statewide information and referral services to unserved low-income people and their families.
- Provide person-centered crisis case management to seniors and people with disabilities who aren’t eligible for Medicaid or other services.
- Continue our efforts to improve the way we provide services – and to remain a pioneer and leader in the field.
For now, we’re waiting to hear if any amount of that funding will be approved. But regardless of the outcome, we will continue to push forward with a person-centered approach to supports, state and federal level advocacy while building and strengthening relationships in our communities. our work will continue.
We’ll continue to create strategic ways to actively pursue opportunities that best support our communities. Those could be grants, chances to improve upon our person-centered approach, or even conversations with lawmakers at the highest level of state and federal government.
In a future post, we’ll talk a little bit more about the team we’re building to make an impact at all levels of government – as well as some work we’re doing on our person-centered approach.
