Today is Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day! Moebius Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects approximately 2 to 20 cases per 1 million births, according to the Moebius Syndrome Foundation. Some symptoms include facial paralysis or weakness and can cause speech, feeding and respiratory difficulties, and limb differences. This year’s theme is “This is MoebiUS,” with an emphasis on US and a community united in support and advocacy for those communities living with this rare condition.
