As we reflect on last week’s gatherings and fellowship with family and friends, we are reminded of how we have had the honor of supporting families during the Thanksgiving Season. For the past ten years, SCI has provided dinner, food boxes, and Christmas gifts to local families through collaboration with Railey Vacations and Railey Realty Deep Creek Lake.
Each year, an SCI Supervising Service Coordinator identifies families to participate in the program. “Our Service Coordinators are embedded within communities across Maryland to help assess vital needs, and this initiative with Railey Realty is a heartwarming example of how we make a difference by working together,” said John Dumas, SCI CEO.
