Technical Assistance Hub for Postsecondary Education Opportunities

People with developmental disabilities want and need to attend college, yet access and opportunity remains a challenge. To address this, the Council is thrilled to announce funding to the Technical Assistance Hub for Postsecondary Education Opportunities. The Hub will connect, support, and train colleges and universities to develop or improve inclusive higher education programs. The Hub will also support the expansion of inclusive, dual enrollment programs for students with disabilities age 18 – 21. As colleges and universities receive training and technical assistance, and develop or improve programs, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities will have greater access to inclusive higher education options across Maryland.
