Able Act Presentation
You are invited to hear a presentation on the Maryland ABLE (Achieving A Better Life Experience) Program. ABLE accounts are an innovate way for people with disabilities to save money without jeopardizing means-tested benefits, such as SSI or Medicaid.
A representative from Maryland ABLE will describe and answer questions about the program features, such as:
- Eligibility
- Saving money in your ABLE account before impacting SSI limits for cash benefits
- Save money without jeopardizing state and federal means-tested benefits, such as medical, food, or housing assistance
Potentially up to $2,500 state income tax deduction per filer and $5,000 for joint filers
When: Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST
